La instalación del pasto sintético requiere una preparación de acuerdo al tipo de terreno al cual se vaya a destinar su uso. Dependiendo del tipo de proyecto se debe de considerar el clima y la ubicación geográfica del mismo. Hay trabajos que se deben de realizar con anticipación con seria:

PREPARACIÓN DEL ENTORNO

• Limpieza y Despalme del terreno
• Compactación de tepetate (o base similar) al 95%
• Alineación y declive pluvial de 1 a 1.5% de inclinacion
• Preparación de terreno con cal para eliminar toda posibilidad de crecimiento de yerba y animales que pueden perjudicar a la larga la base del pasto sintético. (Esto con anterioridad antes de usar el firme de tepetate)
• Riego de Asperción (de acuerdo al tipo de terreno si lo requiere)
